3D4 Project is an engineering studio serving companies operating in the industrial sector, particularly in the plant engineering field, which require fluid-dynamic, electro-instrumental and structural design services.

3D4 Project is a cooperative team composed of expert technicians with several years of experience in the field, who share the goal of becoming a one-stop-shop for customers in the industrial plant sector thanks to their expertise and flexibility.

At the heart of 3D4 Project are its founding partners, flanked by a team of qualified employees and, when necessary, aided by external collaborators.

3D4 Project’s team has experience working with the most advanced tech tools in the plant design field, specifically combining traditional tools (Autocad, Excel, Word, etc.) with three-dimensional modeling softwares (Autocad 3D, Aveva E3D, Plant 3D, Autoplant, Advance Steel, Esapro, Tekla Structures).

In addiction, 3D4Project is currently partner of a Business Network called GLOBAL NET ENGINEERING, which is composed of:

  • Itel Progetti s.n.c.

these last ones are established Companies with experience in the field of automation and civil and industrial electrical systems, both as regards the design and the construction and maintenance of the systems themselves.

Fluid Dynamics Plant Engineering

After analysing the project diagrams and technical specifications, we move on to developing a plan for the equipment layout: from mapping of the piping and axonometric sketches for manufacturing, to construction drawings of the supporting structures. Specifically:

  • Plant layout study

  • Realization of the piping project

  • Realization of structural axonometric sketches of the pipes

  • Sizing and execution of construction drawings of the supporting infrastructure

  • Lists of materials

  • Choice of materials for system assembly and purchase assistance

  • Stress Analysis

  • Drawings of equipment and related data-sheets

  • Sizing and calculation of metal carpentry structures

  • Assembly supervision and assistance

Electro-instrumental plant engineering

Based on the technical documentation and specifications provided by the customer, the team plans the plant’s layout, with attention to its electrical system;
The team will then study power lines, cables and panels connections to the equipment. Specifically:

  • Design equipment layout and control panels throughout the plant

  • Plant power distribution

  • Realization of single-line diagrams

  • Estimate cables and electrical connections needed

  • Sizing and implementation of power system

  • Routing of cables

  • Creation of cables interconnection documents

  • Design and estimate of grounding systems

  • Lighting design and lighting engineering calculation

  • Choice of materials and assistance with purchasing

  • Assembly supervision and assistance

Metallic Carpentry Structures

Based on Customer’s feedback and technical specifications, the supporting structures are sketched; the construction project is developed, including layout and construction tables with details for their production. In detail:

  • Structural arrangement project

  • Carpentry design

  • Construction tables with specifications

  • List of materials

  • Choice of materials and purchase assistance
